Former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai joins the debate in support of trilingual policy: “Great competitive advantage”
Amid the ongoing quarrel over the language issues center in Tamil Nadu, former Infosys CFO TV Mohandas Pai joined the debate and said that learning more languages will help people work in India, while the three-language formula provides Indians with “excellent mobility” at work.
Mohandas Pai said on X to learn more about languages in competitive advantage.
“Learning more languages enables people to work in India. It’s a very large skill, and the three-language formula gives us a great ability to work in action. It’s a big competitive advantage,” he said.
Pai is reposting X posts by a user named Karthik Reddy, who pointed out the benefits of three language policies and said it could lead to linguistic communication between different regions of India.
“Through 3 language policies, the southern states can impress the northern states to learn Tamil, Telugu or Kannada to show the benefits of opportunities when the southern transfers. Similarly, the rest of the southern part can learn each other’s languages, not Hindi. I hope this is fair and can work,” he said.
