IAF choppers make emergency landing in Jamnagar, Gujarat; police say no casualties

Police said an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter caused an emergency landing near the dam in the Jamnagar district of Gujarat on Monday. While it is not known how many people are on the chopper, the police chief Premsukh Delu confirmed that no one was injured.
According to local police, the chopper landed in the suburbs of Changda village near the Lanmati Dam at about 11 a.m., about 22 km from Jamnagar Air Force Station.
“The IAF helicopter caused an emergency landing due to some problems near the Rangmati dam. No one was injured in the incident,” Drew said.
Police told reporters that IAF officials arrived at the scene and began an investigation from their side.
The IAF has not issued any official statement yet.
