Four Panchaloha The idol of Adi Shankarcharya was produced by a group of craftsmen in Thimmakudi village near Swamimalai in Thanjavur district and will be installed in Kedarnath, Badrinath and Uttaramanya Jyotirmath in uttarakhand.
The idols were produced for 40 days in the cast of the bronze creative department, where the bronze medal and Panchaloha idols were produced and sent to various places abroad. “sthapathi” and the owner of the unit Varad Rajh said the idols were made of five metals (copper, zinc, tin, gold and silver) in combination of five metals.
The command to make four idols was entrusted to the unit by Sri Hanumad Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, Kishkindha Samasthanam, Swarnahampi. A team of 15 artisans mastering the chisel, design, engraving and polishing team involved in getting Adi Shankaracharya’s four idols to sit in poses, thus giving them antiques. Each idol has a height of 1.5 feet and weighs 37 kg.
Mr Varad Rajh said the elaborate “Panchadhathu utsava Murthis” was carefully packaged and packaged in a wooden box and was dispatched to install it on April 27 in Kedarnath, Badrinath and uttaramanya jyotirmath.
The idol will be installed at the Kedarnath Temple on May 2, when the 2532nd Jayanthi celebration of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya will begin. The celebration will take place for five days. The celebrations of Badrinath will be held from May 3 to 4, Uttaramnaya Jyotirmath on May 5 and May 6 in Bhavishya Badari.
