Police arrested four people on Tuesday for throwing a gas bomb in a house in the village of K. Velur near Arcot Town, Ranipet last Sunday.
The defendant has been identified as A. Mani, 19, S. Gokul, 20, B. Lokesh, 20 and 23 years old C. Lakshman, belongs to K. Velur. The initial inquiry showed that Gokur and Mani had an argument and hit it. Gokul suffered serious injuries.
Gokul's friends Lokesh and Lakshman were angry about this and threw gas bombs in Mani's house and fled the scene.
No significant damage to the home was reported.
Both Mani and Gokul filed police complaints about the incident. The four have been arrested and stayed in the Central Prison in Velor.
