Four people were sentenced to jail for attempting to rob ATMs in the Kurnore area

The court sentenced four people to three years in prison on Tuesday and demanded a fine of Rs 14,000 for robbing the ATM centre. The four were convicted within just one or two months after their arrest.
The four attempted to rob the Baroda ATM library on the evening of February 24 on the National Highway (NH) 44 Service Road in the village of Chinnatekur in the Kurnore district. The defendant managed to tow the rope away by tying it to the center and trying to use a tractor. However, local young people nearby became suspicious and alerted the four people to escape from the scene.
Police later discovered that the trailer was stolen from the town of Kurnool and tracked the criminals’ movement with the help of CCTV footage from Kurnool and ATM Center. On March 3, police arrested four people, Sunni Shaheed Khan, Sunni Imran Khan, Mohammed Jamshad Khan and Mohammad Pashkar Khan, all from Haryana and the trial began.
The top magistrate of the judicial system, Sarojanamma, found the four convicted and sentenced them to three years in prison, with a fine of Rs 14,000 each.
