French President Emmanuel Macron makes his first state visit to Britain after King Charles’ invitation
Buckingham Palace confirmed today that King Charles III will host French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte on a state visit to Britain.
Mr. Macron and his wife will be invited by the monarch to visit Britain from 8 to 10 July and will remain at Windsor Castle.
Since March 2008, Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni were guests of the late Queen Elizabeth II, which will be France’s first state visit to the UK.
