French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou was “intervented” on Saturday by U.S. President Donald Trump’s support for the French far-right figunhead Marines.
The centrist prime minister mentioned Trump’s remarks as “witch hunting” in the case against Le Pen, calling it “intervention” in French affairs, and complained in an interview published in the Leparison newspaper that there is no longer any borders in international political discourse.
