From Kotapali to Maharashtra

Adilabad: Nearly 10,000 Lambada Sevalal devotees took out Padayatra from Kothapalli in Narnoor, Adilabad district and arrived at Poharadevi Temple and Sevalal Maharaj Mandir in the Maharashtra Washim district.

After they also participated in Deeksha under the guidance of Premsingh Maharaj, they started the “Kothapalli Deekshabhomi” in the auspicious moment of Ugadi, who also participated in Padayatra.

The 300 km Padayatra will also commemorate Sri Rama Navami and end at Poharadevi Temple.

Devotees belong to various Telangana areas, including the Chandrapur districts of Adilabad, Mancherial, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Medak and Kothagudem and Maharashtra.

Sevalal devotees are convinced that the blessings of Sant Sevalal Maharaj and Poharadevi will fulfill their wishes. For the Banjara community, Poharadevi Temple is the second Kashgar.

The villagers arranged meals for the devotees on the way, and they took the Mahall route.

Sevalal Deeksha will last for 41 days, during which the devotees have only one vegetarian meal a day and perform pujas to their deities and goddesses (including Jagadamba Matha, Sevalal, Sevalal and Ramarao Maharaj).

Man wears a pink shirt and white pants while woman wears a white top and pink sari.

Bhukya Bharathi Bai of CCC Naspur, Acacherial, said she had been taking Deeksha for the past few years, adding that her husband, a SCCL worker, had often fallen behind Deeksha and was often sick. Jatoth Raju Naik of Anarpalli, Narnoor Mandal, Adilabad district, said he felt good since he took Sevalal Deeksha with him and his family lived a happy life. Padayatra entered Maharashtra on Friday night.
