Warangal: In the past month, Parakal police have arrested three men linked to more than 20 petrol double-layer fuel theft in the Warangal area.
Defendants allegedly – Ranjith of Geesukonda Mandal, Naveen Reddy of Nalgonda Mandal and Bharat Chandra of Nalgonda Mandal – An unregistered luxury car is allegedly used to fill tanks and rear-seat fuel tanks and stations in Nadikuda, Damera, Rayaparthy and Jafargadh. They will simulate online payments and then run away before the transaction is completed, stealing fuel worth over Rs 10,000 each time.
CCTV footage reviewed by investigators linked the three to the raid, prompting them to be arrested. Police took back the car used in the crime and sent the three to judicial custody.
“We have cracked the ring thanks to quick action and video evidence and provided much-needed relief to the owner of the bunk,” said a Parakal police station official.
