Air India is also making changes. Air India and Indigo have already started using longer routes for international flights. This comes after Pakistan drove its airspace to India after a terrorist attack.

Indigo said some of its flights will face smaller schedule changes. It also canceled flights to Almaty and Tashkent, as their planes are now out of range due to new flight paths. Air India said flights to and from North America, Europe, the UK and the Middle East will now take longer routes, resulting in higher fuel use and increased costs.
