Pakistani troops on the brink of coup? Colonel’s junior officer warns Army Chief Munier to resign | World News

Pakistani troops are staring at the unprecedented situation, with junior officers and former generals warning current Army Chief President Asim Munir to step down. The officers reportedly claimed that Munir made the Pakistani army a tool of political oppression when he was conducting a vendetta.

According to the CNN-NEWS18 report, the letter was written by the Colonel, Professional, Captain and Jawan. Army officials claimed in the letter that Pakistan was trapped in the abyss under Munir, reminiscent of 1971.

“This is the voice of the Pakistani armed forces- Colonial, professional, captain and jawan, they watched you drag your institution, our country and our honor into the ditch………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… 。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

Pakistan’s military has long faced criticism and has been accused of as a political tool for decades.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan also claimed to be a threat to his life. On April 7, 2024, in prison, Imran Khan told reporters that there was a conspiracy to kill him during his imprisonment. He also suggested that his fate be under General Asim Munier’s control.

The letter also follows the attacks of Pakistani Army officials by the Baloch People’s Liberation Army (BLA). The BLA recently targeted a train carrying Pakistan Army officials and ambushed a truck carrying marijuana, killing many people.
