Get AC now in just 10 minutes! Blinkit’s program at Delhi NCR expands other cities

Albinder Dhindsa, founder and CEO of Zomato’s fast business cargo hold Blinkit, announced Saturday, March 29 that the company will deliver air conditioners (ACS) in 10 minutes in 10 minutes.

According to social media posts, the fast business platform partnered with Havells-owned brand Lloyd to ship AC to customers’ doorsteps within 10 minutes.

“Let the air conditioner be delivered in 10 minutes! We have partnered with @mylloydindia to offer the ACS series this summer,” the executive said in his post.

Blinkit plans to expand its operations to other cities, but for the moment, the company’s collaborative promotion is targeting Delhi NCR, according to Saturday’s announcement.

“Delivery has begun in Delhi NCR. Other cities are coming,” Dhindsa said in his post.

The post also emphasizes that after delivery, the same installation will be provided within 24 hours from the date of delivery.

Netizen reaction

Few people on social media appreciate Blinkit’s move, and most users raise concerns about the installation factor, which will face the maximum delay after the air conditioner.

Parth Patel responded to Dhindsa’s post, saying: “It’s great, now I can buy AC impulsively like I order food.”

“Installation is still the main pain point. What is the vision to fix these delays in installation? Because it is the main pain area in terms of AC purchases.”

Bhaskar Dabhi plus the problem of installation delay, “The main problem is installing it in a limited time. You can get AC in a few minutes, but it takes 1-2 days to set it up because you have to follow up with technicians who don’t care!”

10 minutes of ambulance

Earlier this year, Blinkit launched a 10-minute ambulance service for Gurugram residents in January 2025, providing emergency medical assistance to the door.

“We are moving towards solving the problem of fast and reliable ambulance services in the city,” Albinder Dhindsa said in his post.

As a pilot launch program for Gurugram, the company opened five ambulances in the city. These ambulances are equipped with basic life support (BLS) systems that include medical devices such as oxygen cylinders, monitors, stretchers, and other basic medical tools, and can be booked through the Blinkit app.
