Kiren Rijiju accuses West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee of inciting violence

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday accused West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee of passing her remarks asking people to protest the WAQF bill and announced that she would not implement it in her state. The Union Minister of Minority Affairs spoke at a press conference here asking how West Bengal CM announced that she would not implement the revised WAQF bill passed by Parliament.
He said: “How? How could she say she wouldn’t implement it? She sat on the Constitution’s standpoint, the law was passed by the constitutional body, so how could she say she wouldn’t follow the Constitution’s thing.”
In response to questions about violence in the state related to the WAQF bill, Rijiju blames Banerjee.
“CM clearly incited violence by asking people to protest and saying she would not comply with the laws passed by parliament,” he said.
The WAQF (Amendment) violence related to behavior shocked the new episodes in the Bhangar area on Monday, in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Monday.
Earlier, violence related to the law occurred in the Murshidabad area of ​​the state.
