GHMC replaces Hyderabad’s non-functional street lights

After years of complaints from citizens about non-operating street lights, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has finally started working to resolve the issue.
GHMC urges citizens to quickly resolve any complaints related to non-functional street lights through my GHMC application.
The bill says that the street lights equipped with LED lights are under maintenance by Maintain Energy Efficiency Services Co., Ltd., which is subject to the deadline of the agreement ending on May 1.
As of now, maintenance is on GHMC, the sanitary light is fixing new lights.
Orders have been issued for purchases of new lights and other spare parts in areas. The 17 agencies employed in mechanical engineering will last for two months.
To date, a total of 9,000 complaints about street lights have been filed, of which 5,800 have been resolved. The notice said the remaining will also be resolved within a week, and thereafter, efforts will be made to resolve each complaint within 48 hours.
