Ghose panel term extended to late May

The Telangana government extended the term of the Commission of Inquiry (COI) led by Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose on Tuesday (29 April 2025) to cover violations in planning, design, construction, construction, quality control, operation and maintenance of the Kaleshwaram Project in the planning, design, construction, quality control, operation and maintenance of the Kaleshwaram Project on January 1-31, another month.
The order for the effect was issued by Rahul Bojja, chief secretary (irrigation) on Tuesday. The state government formed a single-person committee on March 14, 2024, with an initial term of three months. The term of the Commission was later extended from time to time in June, August, November and December 2024 and February 2025.
