Girl Missing Case: HC Requires Police to Investigate Second Person Participation

A judicial court in Kerala High Court directed police on Monday to murder a girl in Kasaragod, murder with her parents and hear their complaints, and another person was involved in the case in addition to the arrested accused, Biju Paulose.

The Crime Department investigated the girl’s disappearance 14 years ago in High Court directions.

The bench consisting of Judge Devan Ramachandran and Justice MB Snehalatha issued the directive, a habeas petition filed by the girl’s mother in 2024. When the petition was heard on Monday, government pleaders suggested that Biju had been arrested and arrested judicial custody on May 31.

The court noted that despite some delays, measures have been taken to investigate the case.

The court noted that she had been waiting for her daughter’s mother’s plight since June 6, 2010, when she was reported missing for the first time, which of course had a big impact on it. It is the responsibility of the system to answer her. At the hearing, the mother’s lawyer believed her husband had reasonable doubts about another person’s involvement. The court asked the crime department to make this private in the next release date.
