Sales in fiscal 2025 were 99,000, India remains the strong growth driver for Nissan in 7 years

Pune: Nissan India said on Monday that despite the domestic auto industry facing multiple headwinds, it has been in total sales in fiscal 2024-25 in total fiscal 99,000 plus fiscal 99,000 in total sales results over the past seven years.
In fiscal 25, the automaker sold 28,000 units, led by the new Nissan Magnite introduced in the domestic market in October 2024, with exports exceeding 71,000 units.
This strong performance is still being offered despite rising consumer preference for alternative fuel vehicles in India’s B-SUV sector, the company said in a statement.
“India remains a strong growth pillar for Nissan’s continued success with Magnite,” said Frank Torres, Amieo Regional Business Transformation and President of Nissan India.
He noted that exports of the new Nissan Magnite have expanded to more than 65 international locations this year, including the left-handed market.
Torres said in restructuring India’s operations as part of a global turnaround action: “Nissan said the offensive of Indian products remains intact, including plans to introduce a brand new 7-seat B-MPV and two new C-SUVs. We will continue our plans to export our plans to the rest of the world, like our One Car, One World Plan, Torres, Torres.
Nissan Motor India also announced that it will raise the price of the new Nissan Magnite to 3% from April 1 to offset the increase in input costs and operating expenses.
