The five-day paragliding race will begin on March 19 in Vagamon

86 participants from 11 countries will participate in part of the International Paragliding Festival held in Kolahalamedu, Vagamon, in the Western Ghats. The six-category five-day competition of the top international login precision cup will begin on March 19.

The Paragliding Festival is officially recognized by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), the world governing body of air movement founded in 1905. FAI and Air India Club are also borrowing technical support, while Fly Vagamon provides local coordination.

The following categories of competitions held at Vagamon Adventure Park in Kolahalamedu: Paragliding Accuracy (Overall), Paragliding Accuracy (Female), Paragliding Accuracy (Team), Paragliding Accuracy (Indian Overall), Paragliding Accuracy (Indian Women) and Paragliding Accuracy (Junior High School).

The large-scale event organized by the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Association (KATPS) in partnership with the Orange Life Paragliding School will donate Rs 1.5 lakh, Rs 1,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively as bonuses and Rs 50,000 as bonuses, with the first, second and third place.

The state has been leveraging the full potential of its adventure tourism industry over the past three years. Vagamon is an ideal place for sectarians around the world to explore.

Kolahalamedu, 7 km from Vagamon near Peerumedu, is located near Peerumedu in the Idukki region and is one of the best places for paragliding. This place is located at an altitude of 3,000 feet, which is particularly conducive to takeoff and landing. Its advantages are its cool climate, tea gardens, grasslands and woods.
