Nizamabad: Irrigation, Food and Civil Supplies Minister N.Uttam Kumar Reddy said the new ration (food security) card will be issued to households below the poverty line (BPL) and above the poverty line (APL). He explained that the BPL card will be in units of speed in the tri-color and green APL card. He said the previous BRS administration completely ignored issuing new ration cards, but the Congressional administration saw it as a “continuous process.”

Procurement of beautiful rice fields and providing farmers with a bonus of 500 rupees, achieving good results. There is more time to plant and less yield in the exquisite planting of variety planting, but it can improve the public distribution system. The Food Security Act was the creative idea of Sonia Gandhi. The Telangana government is the first in the country to make it a reality.
Q: Nuclear families are increasing in lifestyle changes. It is easy to get a passport for traveling abroad, but getting a new ration card is becoming a difficult task. When will it be implemented in the state?
A: Yes, a ration card is a basic necessity for ordinary people. The 10-year BRS regime is the dark phase of the new ration card. Before issuing a new physical ration card, regional collectors can add qualified new members to existing ration cards for rice supply. Transparently, the new ration card will be issued as a continuous process.
Q: Early poverty line (BPL) households and above the pink score card, poverty line (APL) households are issued and provided with essential goods such as rice, sugar, sugar, kerosene, palm oil, etc. Are there any proposals for the issuance of these two categories of cards?
Answer: The three-color cards of the BPL family and the green cards of the APL family will be released soon. After the logic workout, the state’s 310,000 FP stores provided 3 million tons (MT) of rice. 84% of the state are benefiting from the public distribution system, a real welfare program for the state government.
Q: When NTR introduced Rs 2 per kilogram of rice in 1983, the open market price was around Rs 10. 40 years later, the state government is providing free rice. Currently, there is a common rice on the market, with a price of Rs 50 per kilogram. Does it show poverty or any logical increase behind this?
A: Sonia Gandhi firmly believes in the food stomach of most people in society. As a historic step, we introduced free quality rice through the FP store. Common rice supplies result in very few rationed cardholders, FP store dealers and officials theft. High-quality rice supply will meet food security goals. Rs 10,650 crore is used for rice supply.
Q: In the rice supply scheme, hundreds of rupees are abused because there are few rice millers, junior agricultural cooperatives and officials engaged in violations. What severe actions will be taken in this regard?
A: Rs 60, high-quality rice and 100% ration cardholders will take advantage of it through the FP store. 100% utilization will surely reveal the irregularities in the free rice plan. We are more conscious of implementing the Free Rice Program. Within 15 months, the state government proved its sincerity for the welfare of the people. We will not pay any officials to participate in violations.
Q: The small and medium contractor system disappeared in the irrigation department. Only companies can handle all work. The high irregular behavior of the irrigation sector has resulted in serious losses for the present and for future generations. What initiatives will be taken in this regard?
A: We will strengthen the quality control department to identify violations in the irrigation department. The water distribution from the Godavari and Krishna rivers will be consciously absorbed. Limited water resources with sincerity and integrity will initiate the maximum benefits.
Q: What is the interstate relationship between the Telangana government in river sharing?
A: We are maintaining cautious relations with neighboring Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh states. To protect the interests of Telangana people, we regularly contact the court on water issues.
