Calvert said the A2A Open protocol helps agents communicate and work together regardless of what kind of vendor or system they build. He said today’s agents are designed to handle specific tasks or a type of task, but A2A will change that.
“For example, sales agents that support exploration efforts, or agents who are engineering agents who generate postal death penalty, in the future, customers will want these agents to talk to each other so they can solve more complex problems,” Calvert said.
A2A appears in a human MCP (Model Context Protocol) (another proxy to proxy protocol) and is gaining steam.
