Hyderabad: Following the appointment of the Chief Information Commissioner and four other Information Commissioners, the Government appointed Vaishnavi Merla as the Information Commissioner of Telangana Information Commission. According to an order issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, she will hold the position for three years or until she reaches the age of 65.
Merla holds a degree in computer science engineering and law and practices as an advocate.
