Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan reiterated on Monday that the government will not hold talks with neighboring countries such as Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, while water disputes between states are heard in the Supreme Court. He also expressed concern about the safety of Tamils living in these states.
Mr Duraimurugan’s statement at the conference was in response to the observations of opposition leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami and Deputy Governor RB Udhayakumar, deputy head of Aiadmk, that the DMK government could have been in dispute with other countries along with the chief ministers of southern countries including Karnataka, Karnataka and Keralai, most recently kerala and Keralai, Who Who Who Who Who Who Dis Visited.
