In the fierce competition in the legal world, the lack of strong financial background and guaranteed income, advocates of the backward class face many challenges and struggles. On Monday, the newly appointed Legal Cell of the Association of Backward Classes of Andhra Pradesh, Aaguru Umamaheswara Rao, urged the state government on Monday to provide financial support to British Columbia advocates through the British Columbia welfare company.
“Financial aid will help them excel in their careers by enabling them to buy legal books to enhance their knowledge as well as essential items such as furniture and computers to build practice offices,” Mr Umamaheswara Rao said.
Government financial aid will instill confidence among advocates, thus allowing them to focus on practicing law.
Additionally, he urged the state government to issue health cards and provide pensions to veteran advocates across the state.
