Caloric rest: rain sweeps telangana

Hyderabad, May 12: Telangana welcomes summer heat relief as temperatures drop. The Meteorological Department predicts that over the next two to three days, moderate rainfall across the state will be moderate and lightning strikes may occur. It is recommended that people avoid shelter under trees during the rain and stay in a safe place.
Hyderabad Meteorological Centre predicts lightning to moderate hail through lightning, lightning and gusts of wind (30-40 km/h) in certain areas on Monday and Tuesday. Twenty-six regions are in a state of yellow alert.
On Monday, affected districts include Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Manchester, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Kamareddy, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Medchal -Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal. Residents should take precautions in bad weather.
The temperature in Telangana is expected to drop by 3–4°C over the next three days. On Monday, Hammam could reach 41.4°C, while Hyderabad is expected to be 38.9°C. The highest temperature was recorded in Medak (41.7°C), Nizamabad (41°C), Adilabad (39.8°C), Khammam (39.4°C), Nalgonda (39°C) (39°C) and Mahbububnagar (39°C).
