Greenland and Denmark agreed on April 27 to strengthen their ties in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s interest in controlling the Arctic Islands. Greenland’s new Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen landed in the Danish capital on Saturday for a three-day visit to showcase the unity between mineral-rich islands, semi-autonomous Danish territory and Denmark.
