On an hour-long anti-drug truck avenue, GST officials arrested three people and grabbed 3289 mg of suspicious MDMA, five grams of suspicious Ganga and three cell phones from Muvattupuzha on Wednesday night.
The arrests were Shalim Shaji, 28, Harish, 27, and Sajin, 37, of Muvattupuzha. The alleged drug was for drugs distributed among students and film characters, the excise tax official said. The car used by the arresting officers was also caught.
The drive will continue in the days to come. The GST release said the defendant would be born in court.
