The Gujarat Titans (GT) has signed Sri Lankan cricketer Dasun Shanaka to replace injured Glenn Phillips in the rest of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.
Shanaka is an experienced all-round player. He played for Sri Lanka 102 T20 Internationals with a score of 1,456 and 33 wickets. He also competed in 71-day international competitions (ODI) and 6 Test matches in his country.
This won’t be Shanaka’s first time with the Gujarat Titans. He became a member of the team in 2023 and played three games for the team. GT has signed Rs 7.5 lakh this season.
