Gujarat man who sent death threats to Salman Khan proves to be a psychopath

Police said on Tuesday (April 15, 2025) that a man allegedly posed a death threat to actor Salman Khan has been traced back to a village in the Vadodara area of ​​Gujarat and found mentally unstable.

They said Mumbai police had issued a notice to the 26-year-old man (a resident of a village in Waghodia taluka Vadodara) to appear before them.

Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp hotline work received on Sunday (April 13) in which the sender threatened to blow up Mr Khan’s car with a bomb and attacked Y-Plus-Protectee by entering his residence.

The Wally police in Mumbai then conducted a case against persons who were unidentified at the time under section 351 (2) (3) (criminal intimidation) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and strengthened the security of Mr Khan outside his residence in the Bandra area.

After investigation, Mumbai police learned that the threat was told by Rohan Anand, a police chief living in Waghodia taluka, Waghodia.

“On Monday, a group of Mumbai police officers from the Waghodia Police Department were accompanied to the suspect’s house in a village in Waghodia. However, it turned out that the 26-year-old sent a message that he was mentally unstable and his treatment continued.”

The official added: “Mumbai police issued a notice of his appearance.”

In April last year, two motorcycle-borns drove four outside their residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra area of ​​Mumbai.

Mr Khan had previously faced threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and warned him of consequences if he did not apologize to the Bishnoi community, allegedly suspected of killing Black Buck. Following these threats, the Mumbai police provided him with Y+ security.

A few weeks after the shooting last year, Navi Mumbai police claimed that they had discovered the conspiracy of the Bishnoi gang to kill Mr Khan when he went to the farmhouse in Panville near Mumbai.
