Officials said security was strengthened in Guna, Madhya Pradesh during the Hanuman Jayanti march on Saturday (April 12, 2025).
They said the incident occurred around 7.30 p.m., after which authorities took quick action to control the situation.

“We obtained information about stone drilling during the Hanuman Jayanti march. Peace and order have been affected for some time,” the local government said in a press release.
It said the government took immediate action and the situation near the mosque was under control in the presence of police and tax personnel.

“At present, there is complete peace and order in the region. The public is asked not to pay attention to any kind of rumors,” the release said.
Police Chief Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said the situation is under control and police have been deployed in the area.
Sources said the dispute between the two groups during the march led to the elasticity of the stone.
