Guntur Municipal Corporation receives 50 trolleys to increase sanitary driving in Guntur

To transform Guntur into a clean and healthy city, Tamil Na Commercial Bank (TMB) donated 50 trolleys to Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Friday (April 11). The trolleys were handed over to sanitation workers in front of GMC Commissioners Puli Srinivasulu, Mlas Nazeer Ahmad, Burla Ramanjaneyulu and Galla Madhavi, and TMB General Manager Ashok Kumar.
Acting Mayor Shaik Sajila called on local citizens and business organizations to actively cooperate in the city’s cleaning mission. “Inspired by the vision of the Chief Minister, we are determined to achieve 100% door-to-door garbage collection with public support and eliminate garbage spots throughout Guntur,” she said.
Commissioner Srinivasulu especially thanks TMB for his quick response to the New York City sanitation equipment request. He noted that such contributions will accelerate cleaning efforts under the Swarnandhra-Swachhandhra initiative.
The MLA praised private institutions such as TMB for their participation in strengthening civic infrastructure and said the Chief Minister’s P-4 model ensured inclusive development. TMB GM Ashok Kumar expressed happiness to the public health department that supports GMC and ensured continued cooperation in the future.
Senior officials, company and health department staff also participated in the event.
