Over the past few months, Salman Khan has received multiple death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The superstar continues to focus on his work and shoots his upcoming film Sikandar amid these death threats. Now, director Ar Murugadoss shares how the action movie was shot with “crunch safety” and how the extra checks take 2-3 hours a day.
Speaking about his experience with Salman shooting Sikandar, Murugadoss told the Times of India: “Salman Sir is completely different. Sikandar is huge and we often have scenes of 10,000 to 20,000 people on site. Managing such a large crowd requires a high degree of safety and strong coordination. Our schedule is high. Our schedule is high and the threat becomes even more intense.”
The filmmaker added: “Post, security has been tightened, and all the extra artists on the scene are checked for 2-3 hours a day. Their entries and exits take most of our time, we often start shooting and start in the early mornings. Our biological cycles go toss.
