Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand said 55 transmission projects, including strengthening ICT capabilities and installing other bus reactors for reactive power management, stock worth Rs 4,965 crore is at various stages and is expected to be commissioned in 2025-26 and will be conducted in the next two fiscal years.
“These projects represent phased and strategic expansion of the state’s transmission infrastructure, aiming to improve grid reliability and operational efficiency,” said Mr. Vijayanand, also the Special Chief Secretary (Energy) (Energy), during a review meeting on AP-Transco’s main infrastructure work at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Kadapa Zones on Friday.
