Harish Grand Slam Congress Government Stops Rythu Bima Premium Payments

Hyderabad: Saturday's BRS severely criticized the state government for not paying a premium to India's Rythu Bima plan this year. “Part of the Congressional administration is absolutely evil, trying to provide a key welfare scheme for farmers in Telangana. It has been three months since the premium of Rs 775 crore, but the state has not paid the fee yet,” said senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao in a statement.
He said the premium will expire in February this year, and a part of the congressional administration’s neglect once again demonstrates how it does not care about farmers or their welfare. He said: “The BRS government introduced Rythu Bima to ensure that any family of farmers who have lost their lives will receive Rs 5 lakh insurance.
Harish Rao said: “The information shows that for various reasons, about 100 farmers have lost their lives in Telangana in the past three months. But because the government did not pay the premium, their families did not receive the amount insured. The BRS asked the government to ensure that the premiums were paid immediately and that the Rythu Bima plan continued to be paid, and that all beneficiaries could receive the premiums and all beneficiaries received the premiums.”
