Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi met with Jagdeep Dhankhar at the vice presidential enclave in New Delhi on Saturday (19 April 2025).
The meeting comes days after the Supreme Court ruled that various bills revisited the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and related to the various universities that the president has to settle.
The Supreme Court’s judgment also serves as a timeline for the president and the governor to make decisions on bills passed by the state legislature.
Recently, Mr Dhankar questioned the Supreme Court’s judgment and pointed out that the Supreme Court is a “super parliament”. His remarks have aroused criticism from the opposition.
