Telangana Govt clears 400 acres of air to authorized committee

The state government reportedly formed before the authorization committee for Kancha Gachibowli land belongs to the government’s authorization committee, which is not the woodland claimed by students and some political parties.

Sources said Special Secretary-General Jayesh Ranjan and Forest Chief President RM Dhobriyal met with competent committee members and have introduced the comprehensive veinization of the land since 2000. The armed company revenue and forest department owns a land record, and officials mentioned that the land was never considered a forest land.

They went on to point out that only a few types of buildings were built on government lands, such as IIIT-HYDERABAD, Indian Business School, Gachibowli Stadium, TNGO Colony and private property with appropriate roads. They also insist that all these areas have a lot of greening.

Officials asserted before the group that all established guidelines and rules need to be developed. They said that so far, the structure built under the PCB and related sanctions licenses under Walta’s leadership have been licensed.

Officials have suggested that in 1975, the University of Hyderabad (UOH) owned the entire land and other survey numbers of SY No. 25 in Kancha Gachibowli Village. The then-government entered the Memorandum of Understanding on August 9, 2003 with IMG Academies Bharata Private Limited, covering 400 acres of land in Gachibowli and handed over 450 acres on Mamidipalli Village, Balapur Mandal village in Ranga Reddy District.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the government restored 534.28 acres from UOH and handed over 400 acres to the Telangana Sports Authority, while 134.28 acres were handed over 134.28 acres to the TG NGO. The then UOH Register handed over the land on February 3, 2004 through the tax authorities of the Serial Department.

In lieu of it, the government allocated alternative land, and 397 acres of land were allocated in SY 36 (191.36 acres) and SY 37 (205.20 acres), which was taken over by the UOH Register on the same day.

Officials explained that for the current 400 acres, UOH has clearly and clearly abandoned the exchange of 397 acres, thus giving up its rights to the land.

Regarding the distribution to IMG Academies Bharata Pvt Ltd, the Government issued an ordinance on November 21, 2006 to eliminate the distribution regulations. IMGBharata challenged the government by orders to the High Court and the Court on March 7, 2024.

IMG then filed SLP to the Supreme Court and proposed competition. SLP was rejected on May 3, 2024. TGIIC obtained the allocation and later alienated the establishment of the allocation and mixed use project, which was approved by the Council of Ministers on 21 June 2024. The land is alienated from TGIIC.
