“I don’t want to say I did…”: US President Trump turns around in India-Pakistan ceasefire claim | World News

President Donald Trump has now turned around on the issue after a few days claiming he established peace between India and Pakistan. India has rejected any such claim, saying the negotiations are only held between the directors of the military operations of the two countries. President Trump changed his position on key issues as he spoke to US soldiers and officials in Doha, Qatar.

“I don’t want to say I did, but I’m sure that last week I solved the problem between Pakistan and India and it became more and more hostile and suddenly you start to see another type of missile and we got it. I hope I won’t come out. I’m very satisfied with it, I think they’re on the way…” US President Trump said.

The U.S. president further stated that India and Pakistan have fought for about 1,000 years in fairness. “So I said, you know. I can fix this. I can fix it; let me fix it, let’s put them all together. How long have you been fighting for about 1000 years? Oh, that’s a lot. I’m not sure about that. I’m not sure about fixing it.
