Delhi Police Station Bankrupt Human Trafficking Rackets Rescue Newborns

The gang is involved in bringing babies from Gujarat and Rajasthan to families in Delhi NCR.
The arrested person has been identified as Yashmin (30) of M. Nadeem’s wife; Anjali (36) of Nitin Kumar’s wife; and Jitender (47), son of the late Dhanna Lal. Police said Anjali had been involved in similar cases before.
The special staff member Dwarka team received comments on the human trafficking network and further developed this information. Detailed records of more than 20 suspicious numbers were checked and a watch was kept on the suspect for about 20 days.
On April 8, 2025, the police team detained three Uttam Nagar from Delhi. A newborn child was found, estimated to be 3-4 days old.
In case 178/25 178/25 178/25 178/25 178/25 178/25 178/25 of 8 April, the case is registered. It was proposed under Articles 143(4), 61(2) and 3(5) of Article 81 of the Juvenile Justice Act.
According to the Deputy Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) during the inquiry, the defendants said they were working under the instructions of a woman named Saroj.
“During the interrogation, they revealed that, under the instructions of gang leader Saroj, they brought newborns from Rajasthan and Gujarat with colleagues and once sold them to wealthy families in Delhi for about Rs 50-10 crore,” he said.
Police said further investigations are being conducted to find the child’s parents, gang leader Saroy and other colleagues.
