MVA leaders meet with the governor; complain about the “bias” of the speaker of parliament, chairman of the council

The leader of the opposition’s Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition met here on Thursday (March 20, 2025) and submitted a memorandum accusing the host officials of two houses in the state government.

Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde and Parliament Speaker Rahul Narwekar did not proceed with the lawsuits under the rules that accused the leaders of Congress, the Nationalist Congress NCP (SP) and Shiv Sena (UBT) of the signing of the memorandum.

“Opposition members are not allowed to speak in the House, or they have less time, their views and raise questions about voters. In the debate on budget requirements and supplementary requirements, there is no secretary in the Cabinet Secretary and the Secretary of the relevant departments and the Secretary of the House,” the Memorial said. ”

NCP (SP) leader Jayant Patil, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, Opposition leader of Ambadas Danve Council and Congress Legislature Party leader Vijay Wadettiwar are part of the delegation that met the governor.

A budget meeting of the state legislature is currently underway.
