Share the update, the streaming giant on Instagram wrote: “Tag your calendar. Diplomats arrived on Netflix on May 9.”

Recently, in a conversation with ANI, Abraham shared what the film attracted to him and described it as an “emotional, psychological thriller for seats” rather than just another patriotic story.

“I made it not just because it’s patriotic; I did it because it’s an emotional, seating psychological thriller,” he said. The actor compared it to the movie Argo, “like a movie called Argo. If you watch a movie, it’s a true story about the U.S. embassy in Iran and how they get people out. When you watch a movie, you don’t move; you just stick to your seat. That feeling is the feeling I get from diplomats.”

Diplomats are made up of Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar (T series), John Abraham (Ja Entertainment), Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl (Wakaoo Films) and Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma, Jatish Varma, Rakesh dang (Fortune Pictures/Seeta).
