Himanta Biswa Sarma invites PM Modi to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Bharat Ratna Centennial Celebration

At a meeting with the Prime Minister at his official residence with the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Salma also invited Modi to open the Assam bioethanol plant and laid the cornerstone of Rs 57 billion for the Guwahati Ring Project and Dharan Medical College and Hospital.
The Prime Minister is easily accepting the invitation extended by the Chief Minister to be the chief guest of these functions, which will be held on September 8 next.
The Chief Minister accepted the invitation he accepted to the Prime Minister.
Later, taking to the micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter), Chief Minister Sarma posted, “It was my privilege to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in New Delhi today. I had the honour of inviting him to Assam as the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony of the year-long celebration of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s birthday centenary. I also took the opportunity to request His has both the production capacity of 49 ktpa ethanol and uses 300 ktpa bamboo as raw material. I also asked him to lay the foundation in two key infrastructure projects to achieve 300 ktpa production capacity. September 8, 2025.”
