Haris Malhotra, the father of arrested Haryana travel vlogger jyoti malhotra, claimed his daughter had friends in Pakistan and questioned why she could not call them if she wanted to. He also claimed that Jyoti visited neighboring countries to shoot videos for her YouTube channel.
IE, on Saturday, May 17, Jyoti Malhotra was arrested for allegedly surveillance of Pakistani agents and leaked sensitive information to the country. She visited Pakistan before this year and shared her visits on YouTube and Instagram controllers.
“She made YouTube videos. She has been to Pakistan and elsewhere. If she had some friends there, she couldn’t call them? I didn’t ask, but gave us our phone number. There were cases for us, and we registered,” News Agency Anni Quoted by Haris Malhotra.
He further added that she had all the necessary authority before visiting Pakistan.
“Develop her as an asset”
Shashank Kumar Sawan, Sp Hisar is investigating the case of Jyoti Malhotra, who revealed that Pakistani agents are developing her as an asset. “They are developing her (Jyoti Malhotra) as an asset. She keeps in touch with other YouTube influencers, and they keep in touch with Pios… She has been to Pakistan for example on sponsored trips.” Ani.
SP Sawan further stated that Jyoti was in Pakistan before the Pahalgam terrorist attacks in Jamu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives. He added: “She was in Pakistan before the Pahargam attack and if anything, the investigation is making connections. We are investigating too, because we lead others involved in her relationships as well.”
