Home Minister Amit Shah comments on border, airport security, senior officials intensify vigilance

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday held a discussion with the director general of all border protection forces to review the current security situation on the Indian border. When Pakistan launched a large number of missile and drone attacks against India’s Jamu region and Rajasthan, including Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and Jaisalmer, aimed at assessing preparations and operational readiness in light of recent developments. However, all missiles were intercepted and blocked by air defense forces and no major damage was reported.

In another interaction, Shah also spoke with the Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to assess airport security measures across the country. This review is coming. In a specific conversation with the border security force DG, the interior minister took stock of the situation in the border area and the preparations for border protection forces that demanded the 3,323 km of India-Pakistan border.

Sources said Shah introduced the latest trends in ground deployment, the use of surveillance technology, and border invasions. He stressed the importance of maintaining high operational alertness and ensuring coordination among different agencies, taking into account India’s attacks on civilians.

Other explosions were reported in Jamu and Jaisalmer, prompting air strikes sirens and civilians to evacuate in the border areas. The attack occurred after India’s “Operation Sindor” on May 7, with Indian troops conducting missile strikes at nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan, occupying Jamu and Kashmir.

India claims the strikes target terrorist infrastructure related to groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in retaliation for the terrorist attacks that resulted in 28 civilians on April 22.
