Hot searing Odisha, sambalpur hottest 42.9 degrees Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Heatwave conditions prevailed in Odisha on Monday, with mercury soaring by 40 degrees Celsius in 17 places.
According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, the town of Sambarpur is the hottest place in the state, with an intake of 42.9 degrees Celsius.
Hirakud recorded 42.4 degrees Celsius, 42.2 for Jharsuguda and 42.1 for Bolangir.
The state capital Bhubaneswar has a photography capacity of 40.4 degrees Celsius, while Cuttack City has a 40 degrees Celsius.
The weather office said hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail most of the state on Tuesday.
It said that thunderstorms may be in Markiji, Kolaput, Regatta, Gojapati, Mayobati, Balasol and Ganjam.
