How do Muslims react to the BJP’s Eid gift “saugat-e-modi”? Is it a ruthless politics?

The BJP has been accusing Congress and other secular minorities of the applause, and has proposed a plan to distribute gift packs to Muslims on Eid.

The Saffron Party has decided to distribute gift packages “saugat-e-modi” on Eid and has been trapped among 32,000 Muslim Party workers. Every BJP worker was asked to contact one hundred Muslims in order to be able to reach 3.2 million Muslims.

Morcha, a minority of the BJP, launched the program in Mumbai, where 200 such kits are provided for Muslims in need.

A similar plan was held at the Ghalib Academy of Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin in New Delhi. Dushyant Kumar Gautam, the BJP’s State Secretary-General and the head of the minority Moorcha state, participated in the program.

BJP contacts 3.2 million Muslims

If media reports are believed, the BJP has decided to distribute at least 100 such gift packs at each event. The local mosque board will be contacted to select beneficiaries and the office carrier of the minority Moorcha will distribute the kit.

All India Imam Association praises BJP

Maulana Sajid Rashidi of the All India Imam Association praised the saffron party’s initiative, saying it would help change the view of Muslims on the BJP.
