Karnataka CET 2025: In Sagar, there is another incident in the police registration case

A case was registered in Sagar Police, Shivamogga district, Karnataka, after a student accused him of being told to delete his “sacred thread”.
The student notified his parents only after reading about events related to “Sacred Threads” in Shivamogga and elsewhere in the media.
According to his complaint, registered on April 19 during the candidate’s physical examination, staff told him to delete his “sacred thread”. He obeyed the order and entered the examination hall of the former college of the Sagar Town Government. After he walked out of the hall, he noticed that the “Sacred Line” was thrown into the trash.
The parents filed a complaint with the police on April 19.
Shivamogga Deputy Commissioner Gurudatta Hegade has ordered an investigation into the incident. Checking CCTV camera lens.
Sources said there was no CCTV camera lens in the incident. It is not clear whether CCTV cameras cover areas where the incident occurred.
Police in Sagar Town are investigating.
