Human Resources Management Requires Biodiversity Assessment Auction of Kancha Gachibowli Land

The Human Rights Forum, a collective of human rights activists from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, condemned the government’s decision to auction 25(P) of 400 acres in the investigation through Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) and asked the government to transfer the land to Hyderabad.

A statement on human resources management said that resilient commercial exploitation of this land would seriously damage biodiversity and damage the academic environment. Although the government has distributed part of the land to various institutions in the past, they have always been for public and research purposes. However, the recent auction attempts by the Telangana government contradict this principle, ignoring the environment and academic needs.

It claimed it was police detaining protest students and using land under police protection violated part of the land, blatantly infringing democratic rights, and claimed serious charges against two students Naveen and Rohit at the Gachibowli police station.

The forum requires investigations of the entire university and formal registration of the land in the name of UOH. All students detained on March 30 should be released immediately and all charges against them should be deleted. Biodiversity assessments must be conducted to protect the ecological balance and historical significance of the region.
