Hyderabad: A 30-year-old woman is allegedly murdered by her husband for allegedly suspected of having an extramarital affair. According to Balapur inspector M. Sudhakar, 31, Zakir Ahmed, 31, the murder of 30-year-old Nazi Begum at their home in New Green City, Balapur. The couple has three children. Nazia works with an event management company in the city.
Police received a complaint from the deceased’s mother Rubina Begum about 9.30 a.m. that her daughter had been murdered. Rubina claims in the complaint that Zakir suspected her daughter’s extramarital affair. The couple allegedly attacked Zakir with a stick on her head after a dispute Tuesday night. Zakir called Rubina in the morning and told her about the murder and fled.
The Nazi body was transferred to the Ottomanian Pacific for post-mortem examination. Search for Zakir. The case has been registered. “We are investigating and awaiting an autopsy report to learn more about the murder. Further investigations are underway,” the inspector said.
