Hyderabad:Sources confirmed to Deccan Chronicle that Manish Ranjan, an intelligence agency (IB) official from Hyderabad, was the man who died in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
Ranjan went on a family vacation in Pahalgam, according to sources. When he heard gunshots in the Baisaran valley, he asked his wife and two children to move out.
After the incident, Lan Yang’s phone was allegedly out of the network coverage when his family tried to contact him. The family later confirmed that Lan Yang was shot dead in the attack.
Rajan was sent to the ministerial level of IB’s Hyderabad office a year ago. He is from Bihar.
