Although a short evening shower was seen in part of the city’s suburbs, Hyderabad remained dry despite the accumulation of moisture and cloud cover. Kollur and Shankarpally received a brief rainfall.
IMD-HYDERABAD predicts that the maximum temperature will rise further to 3°C over the next three days. Thunderstorms are accompanied by lightning and gusts of wind, which may be held on Tuesday and Wednesday in areas including Mulugu, Warangal, Mahabbabad, Nalgonda, Khammam, Suryapet, medchal-malkajgiri and rangarddy.
While it is expected to dry from April 23 to 25, isolated rains or thunderstorms may return on April 26 and 27. The weather office classifies thermal risk as moderate to high, especially for infants, older people and those with existing health problems. Residents are advised to stay indoors during peak hours, wear breathable clothes, and keep hydrated using oral rehydration solutions or lemonade and buttermilk (such as lemonade and buttermilk).
On Monday, through late afternoon, storm activity tracked Telangana in the south and central areas. Narayanpet experienced a strong mantra, while Vikarabad, Mahbubnagar, Siddipet and Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri saw intense showers isolated.
