Hyderabad Police Chief Resume Anand, H-New Win Wins Global Award for Anti-Drug Efforts

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand and Hyderabad Narcotics Law Enforcement Department (H-NEW) have won the first place in the “Anti-Drug Excellence Award” category in 2025 at the World Police Summit (WPS).
The summit is organized by Dubai Police and will be held from May 13 to 15, and the award will be presented on the last day at the official ceremony of the Dubai Police Club.
The World Police Summit brings together elite troops from more than 138 countries including the FBI, the New York City Police Department, the Los Angeles Police Department, the Metropolitan Police, the Australian Federal Police and the German Police. The summit facilitates strategic dialogue, collaboration and best practice exchanges to address challenges in modern policing.
Entries from the Mainland Police Department underwent a rigorous two-stage assessment process led by an expert jury and the Dubai Police Department. Parameters were evaluated, including reduced drug supply, reduced drug use, community participation and inter-agency collaboration.
H-new's success stems from a multi-pronged model that includes coordination with national and state agencies such as the Law Enforcement Bureau, Narasix Control Bureau, Tax Intelligence Bureau, GST, GST, IMPISES, Protests, Drug Control Authority, and the Regional Registration Office of Foreigners, a wide community outside the world, further international infringement, the Internet, Internet, Anti-Smart, Drug Control Authority, infringement of international offenses and parallels to rehabilitation.
The official will receive the award in Dubai.
